Sony has just confirmed their latest smartphone to be shipping globally to multiple markets. The Sony Xperia S features a dual-core 1.5 Ghz processor and sports a 4.3-inch HD multi-touch display with a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720. The phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box but will get the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 in the near future. The phone is fitted with a 12 megapixel camera which is capable of recording 1080p HD videos on-the-go. There are no details on pricing as of yet.
